Northern Rhône Valley
Domaine de Bonserine
The vineyard has 11 ha of vines in Côte-Rôtie and 1 ha of Condrieu on the so-called prestigious places which are: Côte-blonde, Côte-Brûne, les Moutonnes, la Viallière, Leyat, le Champin, Fondgeant, Planèze, for Côte-Rôtie and les Eyguets, la Grande, for Condrieu. The estate is mainly made up of old Syrah called “Serine”, which are very old varieties of Syrah giving small, loose clusters with a unique aromatic expression.
We find around 3% of Viognier, a white grape variety from the Condrieu appellation in our Côte-Rôtie vineyard.
Septentria
SEPTENTRIA is Bonserine’s “little sister”. Established for decades in the Northern vineyards of the Rhône Valley, we use our experience and knowledge to select distinctive and expressive wines, true flagships of their appellations. The same qualitative philosophy is applied to our selections as to the estate's wines. Refining and aging red wines over long periods allows us to differentiate ourselves and offer you patinated and elegant vintages. As for the whites, we take advantage of our mastery of the Viognier grape variety. Sometimes on the most noble and recognized terroirs, but also on discoveries and particularities.
